Our Story

A name borrowed from memory.

In Tunisian homes, the khabya was a clay vessel that held the family's olive oil and honey: wealth measured in harvests, not currency. El Khabya carries that idea forward: honey and olive oil from Tunisia, kept with the same care once reserved for a household's most valuable stores.

Every jar is sourced, never mass-produced. Every box is built for the moment it is opened, not just the shelf it sits on. The olive oil comes from trees in Kesra that have borne fruit for over a thousand years, harvested by hand by families who have lived there for generations.

Is the honey raw?

Yes. Raw and unpasteurised, gently strained, never heated. Natural crystallisation is a sign of real honey.

Where is it sourced?

From specific regions of Tunisia, matched to each variety. We source by origin, never by volume.

Where does the olive oil come from?

From the olive forests of Kesra in the Tunisian highlands. The oldest trees there have borne fruit for over a thousand years and are harvested by hand by local families.

Can I add a gift message?

Yes. Add it on the product page; it is saved with your order and handwritten on a card. No prices appear on a gift parcel.
